HiWatt Bass 100

I know nothing about this amp and neither does the internet. It’s probably late 1980s but I cannot be sure.

The owner plans to sell it, although I suspect once he plays it he’ll find a way of keeping it ;). Not the layout of the earlier Hiwatts which we all drooled over but still has the most enormous transformers. There are two chanels which are footswitchable, both sounded very similar to me but I didn’t have time to unpick the circuit (no schematic available online). It has 4 ECC83 pre-amp valves and four EL34 output valves with adjustable fixed bias. There is solid state rectification and the output impedance can switched between 8 and 16 ohms. There’s also a cheeky adjustable line out as well as an FX loop.

Usual repairs required, just putting some pictures of the finished article on here for others to see!
